Last week, DC Solid control shipped a set of drilling mud cutting system to Turkey client. The system mainly include a high speed decanter centrifuge, mud tank,vertical cutting, feeding pump and related accessories.

Mud cleaner and shale shaker are the very important for solid control system. DC Solid control shipped a set of shale shaker and mud cleaner to Malaysia client last
week.

Shale shaker and mud cleaner also called Mud cleaning unit, which to control solids in drilling process. Mud cleaning is well-suited to types of mud as follows.

The shale shaker is vital to the solids control system and is considered the “first line of defense”. Shakers act by removing solids from drilling fluid as the mud passes over the surface of a vibrating screen. Particles smaller than the openings in the screen pass through the holes of the screen along with the liquid phase of the mud.

Particles too large to pass through the screen are thereby separated from the mud for disposal. Without proper screening of the drilling fluid during this initial removal step, downstream equipment will experience reduced efficiency and effectiveness. The downstream hydrocyclones and/or centrifuges (if elected) will simply be overloaded beyond their design capacity.

Oil sludge is a mixture consisting of oil, water and solids. The treatment on oil sludge would recover much oil and water for reuse. Also it is an ideal solution to for the solids disposal. More oil and water recovered, more energy and resource could be saved. DC oil sludge treatment plant mainly include decanter centrifuge, oil water separators and thermal desorption unit.

Oily Sludge Treatment Process

The main technology we used to dispose of the oily sludge is pyrolysis. Let’s see the specific process of working,
1. Collect all of the oil sludge together and then unload them to the workshop. Most of our oily sludge pyrolysis plants are installed in the open air. And then use our auto screw feeder to feed them into the pyrolysis furnace.
2. Under an oxygen-free, high temperature and sealed environment, the three main components of oil sludge, oil, sludge, and water, will be decomposed.
3. When the temperature rises to a certain degree, oil gas will come out. Thereinto, heavy particles in the gas will be liquefied into heavy oil and then dropped into the heavy oil tank; light particles in the gas will rise up and liquefied into light oil in the horizontal tube condenser and then also be reserved in the oil tank.
4. The slag will be automatically collected during the process.

Finished the production of the water well drilling mud system

DC’s mud system is not only used in oil gas drilling but also in some other drilling projects. Therefore, DC developed the drilling mud recycling system for non-oil drilling like HDD, CBM and water well drilling.

One type of water well drilling is for the drilling water, while the other one type of water well drilling is for water re-injection to underground for keeping the pressure of oil layer for continuous oil producing.

Last week, DC Solid control finished the production of the small mud system used for India water well drilling site. The mud system includes a double deck mud cleaner which can be used as shale shakers, also can be used as mud cleaners, a sand pump feeding for the hydrocyclone, a jet mud mixer used for mixing the drilling fluid and a mud tank.
