Screw Pump is an ideal pump used to feed drilling fluids to decanter centrifuge since drilling fluids is pushed to proceed along axial direction evenly. This pump has a strong adaptability to medium,smooth flow,small pressure fluctuation and high suction capacity.With unique design of rotor and stator, low rate of pump internal flow and more stable pressure.

The main parts are screw shaft (rotor) and screw shaft bushing (stator). Because of the special geometry shape of the two parts, they form pressurize capacity separately. The fluids flow along with the shaft, inner flow speed is slow, capacity remains, pressure is steady, so it will not generate vortex and agitating. The shaft of the screw pump is made from Stainless steel.

The main advantages of pump are compact structure, small volume and easy maintenance. Rotor and stator, as the wearing parts of this pump, are convenient to replace.

At recent years, screw pump have already became the most common used feeding pump for decanter centrifuge, which have already instead of slurry pump gradually. Compared to centrifugal pumps, screw pumps can move drilling mud axially without turbulence. They are also able to pump fluids of higher viscosity without losing flow rate. Also, changes in the pressure difference have little impact on screw pumps compared to centrifugal pumps.
