Submersible Slurry Pump is designed for pumping the liquid mud while wells drilling. And it can be used as a charging pump for the main mud pump. Increased capacity allows significantly reduce pumping time.

Our DCYZ series submersible slurry pump  mainly supply mud for shale shaker and decanter centrifuge from the mud pit. Its structure is single sucking cantilever type, and uses bearing seat, supporting seat and pipe to connect the hydraulic parts of pump, and liquid is discharged from the hydraulic hose assembly. Pump’s impeller is semi-open type, and it’s equipped with mixing blade in the stretch part of impeller inlet.

Submersible slurry pump

Specially designed pump frame, adapted to drilling rig, enables it to vertical movement of working part, thus providing for serviceability and checkup. The bottom part of the shaft has enough rigidity; pump impeller is set between bearings. It can supply the liquid with strong concentration of solid particles. The submersible slurry pump may penetrate the liquid between 800m-2500mm under it, and may be equipped with suction pipes if necessary.

Last month, DC Solid control manufactured a 500GPM mud recycling system for customers and has arrived at the project site after more than 20 days of shipping. The system has been assembled of the main shale shaker and mud cleaner equipment. It is planned to take one week to complete the assembly and commissioning.

The mud system is engineer designed to clean, recycle and mixing drilling mud in one mud tank package. The flow capacity is 500gpm + with shaker operating at 40 mesh screens and mud density 1.2g/cm3. It removes undesired drilled cuttings down to 12 microns with 4″ desilter cones. Compact design and small foot print allows it to be easily moved and transported .

The Capacity is up to 240m³/h.. The cut point is 20um. The well-drilling process generates two types of wastes — used drilling fluids and drill cuttings. Drilling fluids (or muds) are used to aid the drilling process. Muds are circulated through the drill bit to lubricate the bit and to aid in carrying the ground-up rock particles (drill cuttings) to the surface, where the muds and cuttings are separated by mechanical means. Most onshore wells are drilled with water-based or oil-based muds, while offshore wells may also use synthetic-based muds.

A closed-loop drilling fluid system uses a series of storage tanks and solids control equipment to remove drill cuttings from the drilling fluid once it has carried them out of the wellbore during the drilling process. By removing these cuttings quickly and efficiently, an operator can increase the life of the drilling fluid and minimize waste, both of which have a significant impact on overall drilling costs.
