The drilling fluid used for a particular job is selected to avoid formation damage and to limit corrosion.

The crudeness or fineness of bonding grid size and bearing layer screen is according need to choose. The upper screen is more fine, the stress layer screen is more fine, the size of grid smaller. Usually the screening layer use 60-100mesh, the stress layer use 30 mesh, when screening layer is bigger than 150 mesh, the stress layer use 40mesh. When screening layer is bigger than 150mesh, the press layer use 60 mesh, in general the grid size is 33mm*25mm*25mm.

Last week, DC Solid control shipped a set of drilling mud cutting system to Turkey client. The system mainly include a high speed decanter centrifuge, mud tank,vertical cutting, feeding pump and related accessories.

This liquid mud plant consists of mud agitator system, pipeline slurry transfer system, conveying system, solids control system, slurry mixing system, slurry storage system, electric control system and slurry laboratory.

First of all,the mud in the mud pit is stirred and cleaned through the mud agitator system, and transported to the solids control system for separation, then, it is mixed and prepared through the slurry mixing system through the conveying equipment and pipeline slurry transfer equipment, finally it is stored in the slurry storage system for use.

Mud cleaner is the combination of shaker and desander. In the most no dig program, customer prefers to select desander or desilter units instead of shaker to reclaim the fluids. According to actual drilling fluids volume, we are able to install the 4, 6 or 8 set of desilter cones or 1 or 2 set of desander cones on the top of shaker to remove fine particles.

Last week. DC Solid control got an order of300GPM Mud system from India clinet and we meet in trenchless exhibition last year.

Now the 300GPM mud system is under the production. The mud system include a set of double deck mud cleaner, a centrifugal pump, mud tank and a mud mixere, which is a noral standard configuration.

Each equipments of the system has a control starter on the electric control panel, they can be started or stopped. There are two bottoms for the complete system, when “Start” is pushed, the electric input started, when “stop” is
pushed, electric input is break. We can add a third button “ emergency button”, when there is emergency affairs, push this button, the electric input can be break off at once. It is needed for safety of the jobsite.
