With the expansion of DC Solid control company business in China. We set up a new office in India for convenient to establish more business with India. Recently, we ship one batch of drilling fluid cleaning system to Dubai Drilling Company, the equipment is for ZJ4000 drill rig.

1. 2 sets of shale shaker.

This shale shaker is 4 panel shakers with big treating capacity, working performance equivalent to USA brand shakers. The vibration motor can be 1.72kw /1.94kw for option, G force is adjustable by adjusting the eccentric block inside of the vibration motor.

2. 1 sets of mud cleaner:

Mud cleaner to be as the second stage solid control equipment in the whole system. The drilling mud treated by shale shaker enter into desander and desilter to get a progress treatment to separate out of the 15-75um solid phase.

3. 1 sets of decanter centrifuge

DCLW frequency conversion decanter centrifuge is used to remove the fine solids, min separation points about 2-5microns. After treated by our centrifuge, the drilling mud can be reused after weighted or chemical adjusted.

4. 1 sets of Screw pump:

Screw pump feed for centrifuge also attached in the mud system tank skid. This positive displacement pump can work stable without agitating the drilling mud. The feeding performance is much better than other type pumps.

5. Lots of centrifugal pump and mud agitators

The pump is for oil drilling rigs application. The centrifugal pump is mechanical seal, performance equivalent to Mission Magnum pumps. The pump can be used for feeding mud cleaner desander cones, desilter cones; transferring mud in/out etc. And many vertical mud agitator placed on the mud tanks to prevent drilling mud sediment.

DC Solid control developed an enclosed solids-control system that eliminates the traditional process of shaking fluid and solids and replaces it with an enclosed, vacuum-based filtration process.

Rather than relying on high G-forces, the new system vacuums drilling fluids through a rotating filter belt by using high airflow to separate the cuttings from the fluid. The cleaned drilling fluids are then returned to the active mud system, and the drilled solids are carried forward on the filter belt for discharge or removal.

The high airflow also preempts the need for expensive mud coolers and is particularly applicable in high-pressure/high-temperature wells. The improved separation capabilities lead to better quality mud and fewer chemicals required to maintain its properties.

With more mud recycled back to the fluid system, there is less waste, and that waste is cleaner. The new solution also generates substantially drier cuttings with mud on cuttings being reduced to less than 30 percent of drilled solids, and oil on cuttings as low as 5 percent.

1. Compact Mud System
DC compact mud system just has one treating desander or desilter mounted on the top of a small mud tank. It’s equipped with one centrifugal pump to feed the mud into those cyclones. And the bottom shaker is used to separate out finer solids.
2. High Configuration Mud System
DC high configuration mud system is composed by the treating shaker, desander or desilter and storage mud tank. The treated mud can be stocked in GN mud tank which can be reused for drilling.

As a general rule, size the mud recycler cleaning capacity to one and a half to two times the pumping volume (max gpm) of the triplex pump. HDD drillers normally run thicker fluids due to the low vertical height and long horizontal lengths of their bores; thicker fluid makes it more difficult for the shakers and cones to process (separate) the solids from the liquids.

This is largely due to the natural coating ability of bentonite — It wants to encapsulate the solids and “hold on” to them. By upsizing the recycler, the solid particles have a second or third opportunity to process through the mud recycler for removal before going back to the rig.

Example: If you are pumping 200 gpm, you would need a 350- to 400-gpm mud recycler system.

Drillers provide an “onboard” mud pump that was sized specifically to the recycler. This enables the driller to use all available drill rig horsepower toward the rotation and push-pull of the drill pipe, thereby not “robbing” it for an onboard triplex pump.

After we talked about this matter with our technical engineer, they offer a solution: use one mud cleaner with double deck shaker instead of separate shale shaker and mud cleaner. In this way, the mud cleaner with double deck shaker could used as a combination of shale shaker and desilter. In this way, we could save the space as half.
