After solids pass through this system, they next meet the mud cleaner, which is a mesh that has tiny holes to keep larger solids from passing through to the fluid. The mesh itself typically is made to block barite, because this is a common substance used and found in drilling. This keeps the mud from becoming too thick and stopping the drill, and it allows the larger particles to be used for other purposes.

The mud cleaner system is comprised of a 12 cone hydrocylone de-silter and a 2 cone in-line de-sander which can be mounted on a DCS700-3 shaker or an adjustable stand. Feed volumes for the de-sander and the de-silter are up to 500 gallons per minute and 50 gallons per minute, respectively.

Mud cleaner is the second class in the drilling fluid system, separate the drilling fluid which is disposed by the first class. Mud cleaner is made of a group of hydrocyclone, a shale shaker and the shunted tubes. The upper is a group of hydrocyclone, the under part is a detail shale shaker.
