Each mud gas separator has limitation on much it can safely handle volume of gas. If the volume of gas exceeds the maximum limit, gas can blow through into the rig. It is very important that you must estimate gas flow rate on surface based on pit gain and kill rate in order to see how much expected gas on surface. You need to ensure that the vent line should be as straight as possible with a larger ID in order to minimize back pressure while venting the gas out.

They can be installed separately: Desander is installed on top of the mud tank following shale shaker and vacuum degasser, but before the desilter. Desander removes the abrasive solids from drilling mud which cannot be removed by shale shakers. Normally the solids diameter for desander to be separated would be 45~74μm, and 15~44μm for desilter.

Mud tanks for solids control systems are divided into Square tanks and Cone-shaped tanks according to the shape of the tank bottom. The body of the tank is made by welding the steel plate and section, using the smooth cone-shape structure or the corrugated structure. The mud tank surface and passages are made of slip resistant steel plate and expanded steel plate. The mud tanks are made of the side steel pipe. All of the structure can be folded without barrier and pegged reliably. The surface of the tank is equipped with a water pipeline for cleaning the surface and equipment on the tank, it uses soaked zinc processing for the expanded steel plate. The ladder is made of channel steel to take responsibility the body, the foot board is made of expanded steel plate. The two-sided guard rail are installed the safe suspension hook. Oily Sludge Treatment Process

The main technology we used to dispose of the oily sludge is pyrolysis. Let’s see the specific process of working,
1. Collect all of the oil sludge together and then unload them to the workshop. Most of our oily sludge pyrolysis plants are installed in the open air. And then use our auto screw feeder to feed them into the pyrolysis furnace.
2. Under an oxygen-free, high temperature and sealed environment, the three main components of oil sludge, oil, sludge, and water, will be decomposed.
3. When the temperature rises to a certain degree, oil gas will come out. Thereinto, heavy particles in the gas will be liquefied into heavy oil and then dropped into the heavy oil tank; light particles in the gas will rise up and liquefied into light oil in the horizontal tube condenser and then also be reserved in the oil tank.
4. The slag will be automatically collected during the process.
